About Me

Lemecia Lindsey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (WA & OR) with over 20 years of experience. She is a psychotherapist that works with adults to help them heal from trauma, both past and present. She has been using EMDR in her work with clients since 2012. She became EMDR Certified in 2014 and has been an Approved EMDR Consultant since 2017. She loves helping therapists learn EMDR or advance their skills. She provides EMDR consultation for those completing Phil Manfield's EMDR Basic Training. In addition, she provides EMDR consultation for therapists seeking Certification or Consultant status. Lemecia provides a warm and compassionate environment for trauma healing and personal growth to take place. She helps her clients address the “root” cause of their distress so that they can live their life to the fullest. Lemecia is passionate about helping clients who are suffering from: PTSD, complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety, depression and addiction issues. In addition, she has specialized training and experience in working with First Responders. Lemecia has advanced training in EMDR therapy and integrates a holistic approach to treatment. She uses highly effective therapies for trauma recovery such as: IFS (informed) Therapy, Ego State Therapy "parts work," Somatic Therapy, attachment repair therapies and LENS Neurofeedback.
