About Me
Lenny has been practicing therapy for over a decade and has had extensive training in the field of human behavior and development. He graduated with honors and obtained his MSW from Fordham’s Graduate School of Social Service. He is an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Illinois. Lenny received his LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification from the State of New Jersey. He has been formally trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) by The Beck Institute in Philadelphia and received his Diplomate Status from The Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy while studying under the guidance of Noah Clyman. Lenny has also been trained in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) at the International OCD Foundation's BTTI Institute and remains an active member. He has had formal training in body dysmorphia and sex addiction. In an attempt to bring a more mindful-based approach to his practice, Lenny received formal training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) under the guidance of Russ Harris. Lenny also received certification in Comprehensive Behavioral Interventions for Tics (CBIT) after personally experiencing a a movement disorder that almost left him paralyzed. Lenny has received training in EMDR from the EMDR institute and is currently working toward full certification.
