About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and other life challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized, with an emphasis on creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and supported.

I integrate trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and other interventions based on each client’s needs and developmental level.

I believe therapy is not about rushing toward change, but helping clients understand themselves, build trust in their own abilities, and move forward at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, and develop a greater sense of confidence and connection in their lives.

Education & Experience

I hold a Master of Social Work degree and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My educational background also includes undergraduate study in childhood studies, which has contributed to my understanding of child development, family systems, and the impact of early experiences across the lifespan.

I have approximately eight years of experience within the social work and mental health fields. My clinical experience has included work in a Veterans Affairs hospital setting, children's inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs, community mental health, group practice, and private practice.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families presenting with a range of concerns, including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, behavioral and emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, and self-esteem challenges.

My current clinical work focuses heavily on trauma-informed psychotherapy and the thoughtful integration of EMDR and other evidence-based approaches to help clients process experiences that continue to affect their emotional well-being, relationships, and daily functioning.
