About Me
I believe healing is possible, and that growth often begins with courage, compassion, and a willingness to explore our experiences. As an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Therapist, I provide a warm, empathetic, and supportive space where you can feel safe to process difficult experiences and move toward healing and empowerment.
My approach recognizes the connection between our experiences, emotions, bodies, and nervous systems. I integrate EMDR with somatic perspectives, Polyvagal Theory, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to support healing, integration, and personal growth. My hope is to meet you with empathy and compassion, honor your unique journey, and partner with you as you move toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment.
Education & Experience
I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. My clinical experience includes crisis services, family and adolescent support, skilled nursing, severe mental illness, and outpatient psychotherapy.
I have several years of experience practicing EMDR and have worked with individuals experiencing trauma, including childhood sexual abuse, military trauma, and chronic pain. I also have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-harm, domestic violence, relationship and family concerns, and other life challenges. I have worked with children, families, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds and across different stages of life.
