Education & Experience
Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology – Missouri Southern State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling – Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Lindsay has training in multiple evidence-based trauma therapies for both children and adults. These include EMDR- (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Prolonged Exposure Therapy, TF-CBT- (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Seeking Safety strategies. These short-term therapies are often effective in helping to reduce the negative impacts of PTSD and trauma-related events.
