About Me
Lindsey is a trauma therapist, utilizing an integrative approach to help individuals' all around wellness rather than treating only symptoms of mental illness. Her approach is based in respect of each individual’s experience and values. Lindsey works from an integrative perspective and relies on a range of techniques and theories in application of a session. Lindsey is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Education & Experience
Lindsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Texas. Lindsey received her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2009 from A&M University. She completed her clinical experience at Integrative Psychiatric Solutions and UT Health Northeast Hospital in Tyler, TX. Lindsey has over 12 years of experience as a Mental Health Professional. Lindsey’s clinical training has spanned a variety of settings such as trauma therapist for adults, adolescents and children of FQHC, inpatient acute behavioral hospital, inpatient geriatric behavioral hospital, medical social worker for dialysis clinic, and community mental health. Lindsey is a member of NASW. Lindsey is an assistant at the Intermediate level of Somatic Experiencing International (SEI).
