Lisa Anderson, LCSW
About Me
With 16 years of experience as a therapist, I specialize in trauma treatment, helping individuals heal from painful experiences, deepen self-understanding, and create more fulfilling relationships. My work focuses on self-discovery, shame recovery, attachment healing, and transforming the relationship patterns that often keep people feeling stuck.
I believe that lasting change occurs when we address the underlying emotions, beliefs, and attachment experiences that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I help clients uncover and release self-limiting beliefs, reconnect with their authentic selves, and develop a stronger sense of self-trust.
Using attachment-based therapy and evidence-informed trauma treatment, I support clients in gaining insight into their emotional world and relationship dynamics. Together, we work to build healthier connections, reduce reactivity, and cultivate greater emotional regulation, resilience, and self-compassion.
My goal is to help clients feel safer in their own bodies, experience more calm and connection in their daily lives, and rewire patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you are navigating the effects of trauma, struggling with shame, or seeking deeper and more satisfying relationships, I provide a supportive space for healing, growth, and lasting transformation.
Outside the office you can find me in my garden, playing with my Springer Spaniels, or enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
