About Me

Lisa Ferguson, MA, LCAC, CSAT, CADACII, CCPS, and CPTT, an EMDR certified and FLASH (EMDRIA) trained therapist who specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families recover from the devastation of trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, depression & anxiety. She also has a deep experience in helping people recover from substance/alcohol abuse and addictions, pornography/sex addictions, and partners/family members of the addicted. In addition, she is internationally certified in Sexual Addictions Therapy (CSAT — trained by Patrick Carnes) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals (IITAP). She is also Indiana’s first Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) through the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS). Lisa is a FLASH trained EMDR Certified Therapist who works with individuals suffering the effects of trauma and PTSD. She is also the first certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) in the state of Indiana. This combination of training positions her uniquely to understand and address the challenges of a wide variety of people who need impactful therapy and assistance in resetting their lives. In addition to her expertise as a therapist, she has over a decade of experience teaching at university, and gives educational lectures nationally and internationally. She holds an MA from Purdue University, and is a member of EMDRIA (the international association for EMDR trained professionals), NAADAC (the national organization for addictions professionals), APSATS (Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists), ITTAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals), SASH (Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health), ICAADA (Indiana Counselors Association on Alcohol and Drug Abuse), and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Lisa lives on her historic farm north of Indianapolis with her husband for forty-four years, her therapy dog, and a menagerie of wild and domesticated animals.
