About Me

My passion is working with adult survivors of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. My goal is to support you in finding yourself and the happiness that may have been taken from you. We all want an emotionally connected and happy life, but sometimes our past holds us back from it. Our work together will be focused on just that- developing the skills you need to move forward while reprocessing the trauma that still resides in your body and brain. We will always move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you, and I utilize trauma informed approaches, including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, DBT, and yoga and meditation practices.

Education & Experience

My education includes a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment Theory, and Somatic Experiencing; I am also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT) and a Registered Yoga Teacher as well. My approach is trauma-informed, and my goal is to provide a safe and nurturing counseling experience.
