Lorie Taylor, LPCC
(she/her)
Preferred Name: Lorie
About Me
I approach each client with compassion and curiosity to help you develop a plan targeting your unique concerns. We work at your pace with a mindful approach that incorporates the your strengths, values, abilities, and physical body to develop a path towards healing. There is no place or memory that should be beyond our consideration – you are not ‘too much’ – you are, in part, the experiences that you have had but you are also so much more. I believe in using evidence-based approaches with an emphasis on collaboration with the client. Maybe you have tried therapy in the past and have felt frustrated; perhaps you would benefit from a approach to healing. Lorie works with individual adults aged eighteen years and older.
Education & Experience
Lorie received a MS in Ed in Counseling from Youngstown State University where she completed post-graduate coursework in Family Systems and Clinical Psychopathology. Lorie has completed additional training in Ego State therapy, DBT, and treating dissociative disorders; she specializes in integrating internal parts work with EMDR.
