About Me
I have over 30 years experience, am bilingual (Spanish) and specialize working with children and their families, although I see people of all ages. Recently my focus has been serving the immigrant population. I enjoy teaching and have taught classes in a nearby community college and have given continuing education presentations over the years for a variety of organizations. I enjoy researching, especially the work of those who came before us to develop a deeper understanding of past perspectives as they influence us today. I have 2 publications and a third in development. The incredible healing power of silliness and just plain having fun continues to amaze me. Working out and gardening in the warmer weather helps me feel strong and confident and I get to smell beautiful flowers and share them with my neighbors.
