EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training™

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma-focused psychotherapy, with an emphasis on EMDR therapy. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, recognizing that each person’s experiences, strengths, and path toward healing are unique.

I work with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, and the effects of painful or overwhelming life experiences. Through EMDR, I help clients identify and process experiences that may continue to influence their emotions, beliefs, relationships, and responses in the present.

My clinical approach integrates EMDR with principles from attachment theory, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and other evidence-informed approaches. I place particular importance on creating a therapeutic environment that supports safety, trust, self-awareness, and meaningful change.

I view therapy as more than symptom reduction. My goal is to help clients understand the patterns that have shaped their lives, strengthen their internal resources, and process experiences that may be keeping them from moving forward. I strive to meet each client where they are and develop treatment that respects their individual needs, goals, and readiness for change.

Education & Experience

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional distress, relationship concerns, and difficult life experiences. My professional training includes graduate-level education in mental health counseling along with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

My clinical experience has strengthened my interest in understanding how unresolved experiences can influence present-day emotions, beliefs, behaviors, relationships, and patterns of coping. I integrate EMDR with trauma-informed, attachment-based, psychodynamic, and other evidence-informed perspectives to develop treatment that is responsive to each client’s individual needs.

I remain committed to ongoing professional development through advanced clinical education, consultation, and continued study of trauma treatment and EMDR. My goal is to provide thoughtful, ethical, and individualized care while helping clients process difficult experiences, develop greater insight, and create meaningful and lasting change.
