About Me
I am a white, straight, cis-gendered male, often sporting facial hair, which I mention in case any of those characteristics may be triggering. I am an LCSW licensed in Connecticut. I work as the Director of Counseling at the Rowan Center, the sexual assault crisis counseling center for lower-Fairfield County. If you are a resident of our catchment area and a victim of sexual violence, I may be able to serve you for free. I also have a small private practice on the side, where I am open to serving anyone who I cannot serve through the agency where I work. My goal is to empower my clients towards self-sufficiency and work my way out of their lives as quickly and compassionately as possible.
Education & Experience
I received my MSW from the University of Chicago, and have worked for 6 years post-graduation providing trauma therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. The bulk of my experience is in working with victims of sexual violence, with some experience working with first responders.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Connecticut Chapter
