About Me
Hi, my name is Lynn (she/her) and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington with over 10 years of clinical experience. My focus is on understanding individuals within the context of their environment, relationships, and life experiences. People come to therapy for many reasons, whether seeking a change, going through a challenging time, desiring insight surrounding how they show up in relationships, and many other reasons. It is an honor to support and empower my clients on their healing journey as they gain new skills and insight to make desired changes in their lives.
Education & Experience
I earned my MSW from New York University in 2009 and licensed as an independent clinical social worker since 2011, previously in Washington D.C. and Virginia, and currently in Washington State. I have experience working with children and adults in a number of settings. Since 2016, my work has primarily been with folks in the perinatal phase (preconception to postpartum) including adoption constellations, and family formation with assisted reproductive technology or third-party reproduction. I am a certified perinatal mental health therapist (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s mental health professional group. This means, I understand the basics of reproductive issues and recognize each experience is unique and nuanced. I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance and recognize the power and importance of the mind-body connection.
