Education & Experience

MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University 2014-2016. My background is very diverse. I studied music as a professional tuba player for many years. When I discovered a love for teaching, I became a music teacher. When I discovered a love for Jesus and a heart for the broken hearted, I became a missionary to Africa. When I discovered a love for walking with people in their suffering I became a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults. When I discovered a love for understanding human behavior and helping people to find meaning even in the most tragic of circumstances, to heal from mental illness and trauma, I became a counselor. I eventually discovered EMDR and have been using this wonderful tool in my practice for 2.5 years. Each of these incredible adventures influences my worldview and ultimately my counseling practice.
