Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. First Generation Chinese-American. Lived experience with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, being in nature, walking, hiking, swimming, and learning improv.
Education & Experience
Master of Nursing from the University of Hawaii-Manoa with Graduate Certificates in Women's Studies and Spanish. Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaii-Manoa. Hawaii Certified Peer Specialist (HCPS). Registered Nurse experience in child/adolescent acute/residential treatment. Nurse Case Manager on Hawaii Pathways Project Team collaborating with adult clients experiencing chronic houselessness and mental health/substance use issues and providing wrap around housing and case management services. Collaborative team member on interdisciplinary teams in various job positions with local nonprofit agencies.
