About Me

I'm an EMDR-trained Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with adults who feel stuck, whether in anxiety, depression, or the long shadow of complex trauma. Many of the people I see learned early that their worth depended on how others saw them, and that keeping everyone else okay was how they stayed safe. People-pleasing, perfectionism, and a harsh inner critic often follow. So can the disorientation of being caught between identities: navigating cultural expectations as an Asian American or multiracial person, or the shifts that come with (peri)menopause, career changes, or evolving relationships. Sometimes it's all of it at once.

My approach is integrative. I start from an attachment and psychodynamic lens to understand the core wounds shaping how you show up in relationships and in your own sense of self. From there, I bring in EMDR and somatic tools to work with both mind and body: not just the story you tell about what happened, but what your nervous system is still holding. EMDR can help loosen beliefs like "I'm not enough" or "I have to earn love" at their roots, so they stop quietly running the show.

I came to this work after years in entertainment and a volunteer commitment with the Suicide Prevention Center that changed everything. I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to want to be truly seen and understood, maybe for the first time. That experience is not background noise in my work. It's the whole reason.

I see clients in person in Mar Vista/Culver City and Redondo Beach, and online throughout California. I offer a free consultation so we can get a sense of each other before you decide.
