About Me
I currently have openings Monday through Thursday (and some Fridays) from 3-9pm ET / 1-7pm MT for clients located anywhere in Georgia, South Carolina, and Colorado. If it feels right, I invite you to reach out to schedule a complimentary, no-pressure consultation call.
I offer genuine, holistic therapy for deep thinkers and feelers who are tired of holding it all together. Here, the need to perform and adapt to expectations and environments that never quite fit gently eases, creating space for safe connection, self-trust, and a sense of coming home to yourself. I help clients deepen self-acceptance and move toward lives that feel aligned, genuine, and peaceful. Together, we gently explore familiar strategies that once kept you safe, ways you learned to protect yourself such as people-pleasing, self-doubt, overthinking, or emotional numbing, and make room for new ways of being to emerge.
My work is grounded in understanding and addressing the root causes of suffering rather than simply managing symptoms. I work most often with complex trauma and recent traumatic events, self-criticism and shame, chronic emotional dysregulation, fear and anxiety, and relationship challenges. I support clients in reprocessing painful experiences, loosening limiting beliefs, and restoring connection to the body and the present moment.
I frequently use EMDR therapy as part of a broader, personalized approach, and I have witnessed the profound ways it can help clients process difficult experiences and find true relief. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based, internationally recognized therapy that was first developed to treat PTSD and has decades of research supporting its effectiveness. EMDR goes beyond trauma- it helps your mind and body feel safe and grounded again. Whether your challenges come from a single event or years of ongoing stress, anxiety, or emotional strain, EMDR provides a tailored approach to support healing across a variety of experiences. I pace the work with close attention to each client’s nervous system capacity so it remains tolerable, effective, and empowering.
To create a therapy experience that feels holistic and individualized, I integrate EMDR with complementary trauma-informed, body-based, attachment, and mindfulness approaches to support nervous system regulation, embodied healing, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Our relationships are central to our existence as humans, and you are deserving of ease and contentment within them.
A key part of my practice is a commitment to anti-oppressive and culturally attuned care. I center your autonomy, offering a space that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and deeply respectful of your unique identity and life experiences. I also openly acknowledge the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and bring that understanding into our work together. I am especially drawn to working with neurodivergent individuals, including those who identify as Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or highly sensitive. I offer affirming, sensory-aware therapy that honors the natural wiring of your brain and is attuned to how you uniquely experience the world.
Sessions are relaxed and candid, held with humor, kindness, and calm. My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where you can see yourself, listen to yourself, and uncover the answers that have been within you all along.
Outside of therapy, I find joy in cozy cooking, time with my pets, watching favorite shows, and slow moments with my husband and loved ones. Having grown up in the Middle East and through my experience as a military spouse, I bring lived insight into expat life and transitions, which informs my work with clients navigating periods of change.
