Maggie R Neville, LCSW, CADC

About Me

I have been an LCSW for 30 years and certified working with EMDR for 29 years. I am experienced working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, grief and improving communication skills. My primary therapeutic modality is EMDR. I have come to believe that our minds and hearts want to move toward mental health and emotional stability. However many of life's experiences can block that health and lead to disharmony and instability. The EMDR process helps guide an individual to the specific blocks and enables clearing thereby allowing a healthy flow and recovery.

Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree in 1982 from Temple University in Philadelphia. Graduate degree in 1996 from University of Hawaii. Have been working primarily in healthcare outpatient facilities in several states. Have also worked in the inpatient mental health unit in a local hospital in Virginia. Worked with the Navy Behavioral Health in Virginia Beach and the Marines Behavioral Health at Camp Pendelton in California.
