About Me

I am licensed to practice in DE & MA and have worked in the field for over 30 years. I use holistic and evidence based approaches to help clients experience relief from mental health symptoms and to even begin to thrive emotionally, socially and physically. I am a certified EMDR practitioner. EMDR is a proven therapy that addresses symptoms/issues which may have resulted from past traumatic experiences. Many of my clients, who may have previously been in therapy for years, are often surprised at how quickly they start to feel a lot better. It is important to know that trauma can occur throughout our lifespan. Often we only associate trauma with major incidents, e.g. car accidents, abuse, assault, house fires, severe weather, etc. Trauma can ALSO occur as a result of the loss of a loved one, neglect, and even bullying. It is totally normal to really try to avoid thinking about these events. That avoidance, however, can often times result in anxiety, depression, anger, phobias, OCD, panic attacks or of course PTSD. This is where I can help...it's what I do. I'm happy to talk on the phone to see if you would like to schedule a session. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked in the field for over 30 years. I work primarily with adults struggling with depression, anxiety and mood disorders that may occur in conjunction with trauma histories, and PTSD. My goal is to empower individuals to take control of their destinies and function effectively by providing them with practical solutions needed to realize their goals. Additionally it is critical to provide a positive therapeutic connection, hope and symptom relief.
