About Me

I am a biracial Filipina EMDR trained Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, based in California offering virtual and in-person individual therapy in San Diego, CA (Kumeyaay Land).

I am honored to work with individual adults, with an emphasis on AANHPI/BIPOC, whose cultural, racial, ethnic, religious, LGBTQIA2S+, socioeconomic, immigration or other identities shape their experiences of identity, belonging, and emotional wellbeing. I am passionate about working with survivors of childhood abuse, sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, or other adverse life experiences. I also have experience working with healthcare professionals, veterans, and active-duty military members, along with their loved ones, who navigate the unique challenges these careers can bring.

I recognize that healing is shaped by the intersection of your identities, relationships, lived experiences, and environments. I approach therapy with an awareness of how intersecting systems of oppression and privilege—including racism, colonization, capitalism, ableism, patriarchy, fatphobia, heterosexism, transphobia, classism, and other forms of structural violence—can shape mental health, relationships, and access to healing.

Education & Experience

I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from University of San Diego.

Experience across settings:

An integrative service facility, including psychotherapy, substance use, and detox/medication-assisted treatment.

A nonprofit organization that works with the Native American/Kumeyaay community in San Diego County.

A substance use residential center for unhoused civilians and veterans struggling with addiction and working toward community re-integration.

An outpatient group practice serving a broad range of clients, including children, adults, active duty/veterans, and neurodivergent individuals.
