About Me
Are you struggling, feel stuck or weighed down by disturbing memories from the past or perhaps the loss of a loved one. So often our painful past experiences can color our present perceptions, keeping us in a rut and Spiraling through life. There is hope. You don’t have to face these challenges alone. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including ACT, CBT-D, CBT-SUD, CPT and EMDR to ensure the work we do together is beneficial. As a Christian I am also able to integrate traditional talk therapy methodologies as the ones mentioned above with Christian belief practices by incorporating theological concepts.
Education & Experience
I have over 15 years of experience in the field of addiction. I graduated from the NYU School of Social Work on May 2000. I have extensive experience working with consumers who suffer from anxiety, depression and other addictions. In addition to EMDR I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, CBT-D as well as DBT (Dialectical and Behavior Therapy) therapy approaches.
