About Me
A deeply compassionate therapist and has a style that allows the client to lead while taking advantage of his life experience and expertise. I see human growth and development as predicated on the interweaved nature of our body and brain, our mind, and our relationships with others. The focus of my therapeutic approach is to provide a safe and supportive space to invite personal awareness, growth, and healing. I have a style that allows the client to lead while taking advantage of my expertise. I have experience with working with those who have suffered from severe trauma, including those who have been diagnosed with dissociation.
Education & Experience
Training and experience across a variety of methods including interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness, sand tray, coherence therapy, and parts work with a focus on relieving trauma and highly emotional states. Many years of professional executive management experience in behavioral health and disabilities organizations at local, state, and national levels. M. Ed. in clinical mental health counseling from Lamar University. Previous psychotherapy experience at IPNB Psychotherapy of Austin
