Marlene Furey, M.Ed., MSW, RSW

Preferred Name: Marlene

About Me

I'm interested in you. If I can't help you I'll find someone who can. I am trained in a variety of therapy models other than EMDR, which I can blend with EMDR (eg. IFS-Informed; DNMS; Structural Dissociation Theory; CBT; DBT; Motivational Interviewing etc.) Whether you are struggling to cope with the current stress in your life, or feel down because you can't get past the past, or perhaps you've tried therapy before and it didn't work for you and so you are afraid to try again, finding it hard to even find the words to explain what you're feeling or just feeling like you don't understand yourself. You don't have to struggle alone. It would be my privelege to help you to take the first step toward finding the right fit for you. And you never know, maybe the right fit will be with me!
