About Me

I started my counseling career in Chicago where I worked in a group home with chronically mentally ill adults and doing crisis work. I moved back to St. Louis where I started doing DBT and worked at an agency providing full model DBT where we worked with high risk adults and teenagers in individual and group therapy. I have now started my own practice where I focus on trauma using Natural Processing work which is more somatic based, while continuing to incorporate EMDR. I know that in order for EMDR to be successful someone needs to be able to be in touch with what is going on in their body.
