About Me

I provide counseling services to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, life transitions, and a variety of related issues. I also work with couples. My therapeutic approach will depend on your situation, your preferences, and our conversations about what is most likely to help. I am interested in understanding you, and I will treat your story with respect, without judgment. I believe deeply in the capacity we all have to heal and change. We will work together to understand your experience and to help you make the changes that are important to you. Prior to my training and work as a therapist I worked in an administrative and leadership capacity in small business and the nonprofit sector, including five years as principal of a Montessori school in Chicago. My nonprofit work included seven years living and working in Kenya, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
