Preferred Name: Mary
About Me
I offer holistic, person-centered counseling for individuals, couples, and families. With compassionate presence – and mindful of your strengths and history – I will work with you to nourish insights, strategies, and resources to support you in overcoming difficulty and meeting life whole-heartedly. I bring a holistic, person-centered, attachment- and mindfulness- based approach to working with teens and adults experiencing a wide range of life challenges.
Education & Experience
I earned my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021, with field work serving young women experiencing breast cancer and families experiencing domestic violence. Since 2021, I have been providing mental health counseling in a private practice setting serving all populations, with a special passion for the LGBTIA+ (especially trans) community; neurodiverse folks; those who have experienced trauma, anxiety and depression; and those grappling with parenting/relationship challenges.
