About Me

Confucius said, “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall”. In the mental health field, we call this resiliency. Life happens, and sometimes it can be traumatizing and sometimes it can be inspiring and glorious. As a mental health counselor, with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I have spent many years not only learning the impact life can have on us but also how I may help others rise from their falls. Through a strong therapeutic collaboration and custom integrated approach, I seek to help my clients delve deep and develop a strong insight into who they are and how I can help them overcome their obstacles or recover from their pain. With a trauma informed perspective, I can help you heal from your past and ultimately find joy and fulfillment once more. I additionally enjoy working with couples and helping them get to the root of their struggles all while building a strong foundation in respect, admiration, friendship, intimacy and of course love. All of this comes down to my demonstrated ability in helping clients resolve their past, break through their barriers and ultimately, reclaim their lives.

Education & Experience

I hold a dual BA in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Child Development. My MA is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also certified as a Trauma Therapist for adults and children/adolescent. In addition, I am a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and working on my Certification in Synergetic Play Therapy. I've been in the Mental Health field for over a decade, with four years as a therapist. I have worked with clients of all ages from the age of 3 and up with a variety of diagnosis though my specialty is trauma and dissociative disorders.
