About Me
I am a psychologist specializing in trauma, relationship concerns, anxiety and emotional eating. I specialize in helping those who have tried other approaches and continue to feel stuck. I am passionate about helping people gain freedom from overwhelming, pervasive emotional and behavioral patterns. You can live your life from a place of balance and self-love. I enjoy seeing my clients find peace, heal wounds and expand their perception of what they think they are capable of. My approach to psychotherapy is client centered, empathetic, collaborative and active. I capitalize on clients’ strengths and do not believe that anyone is broken or “sick”. Just as the negative patterns have been learned and reinforced, they can be healed with the right tools. I use Ego States (parts work) and EMDR to help you reach your goals.
Education & Experience
I earned my Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from the Wright Institute and my Bachelor’s Degree from UC Berkeley. In the past I worked at UCSF outpatient clinics and in a group practice in San Francisco. I currently work in my private practice.
