About Me

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with a range of age groups and therapeutic needs. I chose social work because of its holistic approach considering the whole person: body, mind, and environmental systems lived when providing psychotherapy.

Education & Experience

Therapy with me is collaborative and non-judgmental using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Psychodynamic relational work (talk therapy) which support development of secure attachment behaviors, healing and desensitization of past traumas/PTSD, and development of a deeper connection to internal self-worth. All providing a foundation for lasting change. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ communities and have training in understanding the many complex intersectionalities such as racism or sexism. The dynamic of these communities and their experience is unique when approached in counseling and I want you to know I make LGBTQ and cultural affirmative therapy a priority.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Affiliated with Institute for Human Identity where clinically supervises, is a member of the steering committee, and other LGBTQ affirmative initiatives in the NYC community.
