About Me
We know that humans are wired for resilience and connection. My expertise is helping people and relationships heal from difficult experiences to find a way to thrive. Whether you are struggling from issues involving anxiety or depression, your relationships, or past wounds, I guide clients from a strength-based approach.
Education & Experience
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with my MS from Virginia Tech. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies from NCSU. I provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and adolescents who are experiencing problems related to anxiety, depression, trauma, marital/relationship distress, affairs, life adjustment, parenting, family conflict, school/job issues, and gender and sexuality issues. I have worked with adolescent females in residential care that have experienced sexual and physical abuse, neglect, truancy, running away and were involved in the court system. I am currently in full time private practice at Fairfax Integrative Therapy.
