About Me
As a somatic and relational therapist, I specialize in helping clients cultivate meaningful relationships with themselves and others. Through our work together, we will identify and address the root causes of trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression that may be hindering your relationships and overall well-being. I provide a supportive and nurturing environment where you feel comfortable exploring your healing journey. I offer a relaxed, compassionate, and empathetic approach, with a touch of humor to help ease the process.
Education & Experience
I am a licensed counselor based in the northern Virginia area who holds dual licensure in Virginia and Ohio. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from High Point University and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University. I have over five years of experience in the mental health field, supporting those healing from complex trauma, persistent anxiety, and depression by helping you safely reconnect with your mind, body, and world. I utilize body- and relationally-based approaches to help you achieve your goals. This includes a foundational approach in Polyvagal Theory, EMDR Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Ego State, Attachment, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
