About Me
Hi, I’m Megan, offering counselling for adults, youth, families, and couples in person and online at 668-1199 West Pender Vancouver at EMDR Therapy Group. I provide a compassionate, collaborative space where we move at your pace and build on the strengths you already carry.
Many people I work with have spent years being the strong one, the caretaker, or the one who “should” have it all together. You may be noticing that old coping strategies no longer work, feeling stuck in patterns that don’t fit, or wanting to feel more at home in your body, relationships, or identity. Together, we explore what’s getting in the way and create space for clarity, self-trust, and connection.
My work is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and relational. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and in charge of your own story.
Education & Experience
I hold graduate degree in counselling and support diverse clients across community and clinical settings. My practice integrates EMDR, AEDP, parts work, and narrative approaches within a trauma-informed framework.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over a decade supporting survivors of intimate partner violence, systemic oppression, and traumatic loss. This experience continues to shape my commitment to culturally responsive, identity-affirming care.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and I engage in ongoing professional development and peer consultation.
