About Me

I believe every person has the capacity for healing, growth, and greater freedom. You are not defined by what happened to you or by the ways your mind and body learned to survive. Even patterns that feel deeply rooted do not have to determine the rest of your life.

I approach therapy with curiosity rather than shame, recognizing that many distressing thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and nervous-system responses began as attempts to cope, protect yourself, or find certainty. My approach is collaborative and individualized, with careful attention to your goals, strengths, readiness, and current needs. Together, we work to process unresolved experiences, develop more supportive ways of responding, and strengthen the competence and self-trust you can carry beyond therapy.

I provide virtual therapy for adults located in Utah and Oregon and specialize in PTSD, complex and developmental trauma, childhood trauma, attachment wounds, chronic emotional neglect, sexual trauma, OCD, intrusive thoughts, and distressing experiences that continue to affect the present.

My work incorporates EMDR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, and other evidence-based strategies when clinically appropriate. I have also completed advanced EMDR training in complex trauma and Future Vision EMDR.

My goal is not to keep clients in therapy indefinitely, but to help them develop greater freedom, flexibility, and confidence in their ability to navigate life.
I am passionate about helping clients move beyond the patterns shaped by trauma and build lives that feel safe, connected, and meaningful. Through EMDR therapy, I help clients process experiences that continue to shape the present while strengthening their ability to move toward the future they want. When appropriate, I integrate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to effectively treat OCD and trauma-related obsessive symptoms.
I strive to provide a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood, supported, and appropriately challenged. Treatment is tailored to each individual's unique history, strengths, and goals while maintaining fidelity to evidence-based care. I welcome referrals for adults seeking specialized treatment for trauma, complex trauma, and OCD, including those looking for deeper healing after previous therapy has not fully addressed the root of their struggles.

Education & Experience

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Weber State University and my Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Kentucky. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah and provide virtual therapy to adults throughout the state.
My clinical work focuses on trauma, complex trauma, and OCD. I completed EMDR Basic Training through the EMDR Center for Excellence and further advanced my EMDR training through The Craft of EMDR Therapy: Taking It to the Next Level with Deany Laliotis. This training expanded my skills in advanced case conceptualization and Future Vision processing, an application of EMDR that helps clients strengthen adaptive neural networks supporting the future they want to create after trauma.
In addition to EMDR, I have specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD.
