Dr. Melissa Gluck, Ph.D.
(She/her)
About Me
I am a licensed psychologist based in NYC, specializing in working with adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who have experienced relational trauma. I offer both standalone EMDR treatment and highly tailored integrative therapy, blending EMDR with parts work, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques. My approach is warm and empathic, providing a safe, supportive space for individuals of all backgrounds to heal and grow.
Education & Experience
I earned my PhD from the University of Florida’s Counseling Psychology program, followed by a pre-doctoral internship at Pace University’s Counseling Center. I then advanced my training with a post-doctoral fellowship at Fordham University Counseling and Psychological Services, where I received extensive experience in trauma recovery and relational trauma. In Fall 2023, I completed full EMDR training, and I am currently pursuing Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 training through the IFS Institute, with an anticipated completion in September 2025.
