About Me
I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) specializing in EMDR therapy for trauma and nervous system dysregulation across the lifespan. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating the lasting impact of traumatic experiences, chronic stress, medical events, attachment wounds, and major life transitions. I completed EMDRIA-approved Basic Training and integrate EMDR within developmentally informed, trauma-focused approaches to support meaningful, lasting change.
Many individuals I work with describe feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or a persistent internal sense of unsafety, even when their current circumstances no longer warrant it. Trauma can leave the nervous system in a state of survival long after the event has passed. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain fully process and integrate these experiences so they no longer feel present or emotionally overwhelming. Rather than simply coping with symptoms, this work supports deeper resolution, increased emotional flexibility, and a renewed sense of self-trust.
I have a particular interest in working with individuals adjusting to chronic medical conditions, including autoimmune disorders such as celiac disease, as well as those navigating medical trauma, identity shifts, grief, and the cumulative effects of prolonged stress. I approach this work with deep respect for the complexity of each person’s story and with the understanding that trauma is stored not only cognitively but also physiologically within the nervous system.
My clinical style is relational, attuned, and thoughtfully paced. I prioritize stabilization and readiness before trauma reprocessing, ensuring that EMDR is tailored to developmental level, attachment history, and individual goals. Meaningful trauma work unfolds within a secure therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a space that feels steady, collaborative, and grounded.
I offer in-person sessions in Bloomfield Hills and telehealth appointments throughout Michigan. A free 15-minute consultation is available.
