About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 35 years of experience helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, grief, chronic illness, and major life changes. I have been in private practice for the past 10 years and have recently joined The Anchor Within Counseling and Wellness, PLLC group practice. My work is primarily with older adolescents and adults.
My approach is collaborative and relationship centered. Together, we explore how difficult experiences may still be shaping your thoughts, emotions, body, and relationships. When it fits your needs, I integrate EMDR therapy with IFS-informed parts work and somatic interventions to help you process painful experiences, understand your responses with more compassion, and feel more grounded.
Completing training to become an EMDR Therapist, as well as the process toward certification, has been a deeply rewarding journey of both professional and personal growth. Achieving EMDRIA Certification will be the fulfillment of a longstanding professional goal.
