About Me

Mélodie has been a social worker since obtaining her bachelor's degree from the University of Ottawa in 2012. Since then, she has acquired different work experiences with various groups, young and old; starting at the Ministry of Social Development to move on to services related to mental health. Also, in 2019, she obtained her master’s degree in social work from Dalhousie University. These experiences helped her gain the skills to work with diverse problematics related to mental health which makes her a competent professional to help support you through your difficult times. Mélodie would tell you that she had a colourful life course; tinted by her personal experiences, her exchange with others, her international travel experiences and now a mother of two wonderful children. All these life experiences define her into a down to earth, authentic, easy to approach social worker. Mélodie has an open mind and a capacity for adaptation which ensures that she will seek out the best possible therapeutic tools based on best practices.
