About Me
I took my basic training for EMDR in 2014 and have had the honor of helping veterans, active duty, persons with substance abuse and other varied types of trauma since. As a trauma survivor myself, I find this to be a wonderful therapeutic intervention.
Education & Experience
I have worked with Veterans and active duty military, LGBTQIA, persons with acute and chronic mental illness, co-occurring substance and alcohol use disorders, grief and trauma. I have worked in non profit clinics, severe mental illness out-patient clinics with psychiatrists, and residential recovery homes with drug and alcohol counselors, as well as private practice therapeutic settings.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am licensed with BBS and belong to CAMFT. I also volunteer with the Youth Pride Association.
