Mrs. Michelle Beth Frankley, MSW, LCSW

About Me

Have your personal/familial relationships become a struggle? Are you noticing negative patterns in your life? Have you had traumatic experiences in your life? Many challenging areas in life stem from how an individual relates to others as well as, of course, life stress. I have worked with many adolescents, parents and individuals in tackling troubling issues that have resulted in marital discord, negative thoughts, behavioral problems and relationships that are less than satisfying. I take a team approach with my clients to assist them in gaining confidence, insight, and developing tools that can be utilized in the future. My therapeutic approach includes EMDR (as appropriate), mindfulness training, cognitive/behavioral skills training, relaxation exercises and attachment theory. With this approach clients can reach a deep level of healing and develop strengths, skills and insight to improve communication, decrease negative beliefs and become proactive in a more fulfilling life. My areas of specialty include trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, depression/anxiety; adolescent struggles; substance abuse; women's issues; relational problems faced by many couples and families; grief and loss. Through therapy clients can resolve past hurts, improve self-esteem, gain self-understanding and improve the quality of their relationships.
