About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned my MSW from Fordham University. I have several years of experience working with high acuity clients and their families in RTC and EDT. I am Certified in EMDR therapy, and I whole heartedly believe that this modality has the power to heal the world. I work with a wide array of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, family issues, grief/loss, self-esteem, disordered eating and other mental health/behavioral concerns. Life can be messy and unpredictable, and I am here to tell you it is okay not to be okay. I am passionate about empowering others to discover self-worth, take back control, and believe that they are deserving of good things. I focus on a Holistic approach to healing that considers the individual as a whole comprised of mind, body, and spirt. I focus strongly on EMDR therapy, however I also utilize a combination of DBT, CBT and ACT to support client's on their pivotal journey through therapy. I will always meet you where you are at. During our first few sessions, we will work on building rapport and gathering information in order for us to create safe, reasonable and attainable goals for treatment together. I will always educate my clients on modalities and interventions used in treatment. The goal is to create a trusting environment, where ultimately you will independently and confidently reach achieve full potential.
