About Me
Welcome! I imagine you are here because you have gone through or are going through something(s) that have really made it hard to get through the day. Sometimes life throws us curveballs that can really flip our whole world upside down, leaving us feeling anxious, alone, and hopeless. Whether you've gone through one distressing event, or experienced many traumatic events throughout your life, it can feel really overwhelming to navigate these experiences alone. My goal as an EMDR therapist is walk alongside you with warmth and compassion as we find and work through the root of what is driving your current symptoms so you can finally find relief. I specialize in PTSD, anxiety disorders, and pregnancy and birth traumas. I would love to help you finally find lasting relief. Education & Experience
I received my MS in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marital and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University in 2014. From 2013-2014, I worked at the CLU Community Counseling Center. I spent several years working in community mental health with various populations, including with children, adolescents, foster and adopted youth, and adults in the CalWorks program. I spent 7 years working in a group private practice focusing primarily on trauma. In early 2022, I began my training in EMDR and opened up my own practice focusing primarily on PTSD, anxiety, and perinatal trauma. I became EMDR certified in 2023 and now practice EMDR with the majority of my clients.
