About Me

Monica Solorzano is a licensed therapist and a trauma-informed psychotherapist who applies evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, IFS, and somatic work. She has more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field in both the public and private sectors. She specializes in the treatment of complex trauma (c-PTSD), PTSD, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, addictions and suicidal intentions in both adults and adolescents. With over 20 years' experience of serving the international community in her private practice, Monica is a bilingual (English and Spanish) and tricultural (Mexican, Spanish and American) psychologist that works worldwide, serving the international community. She is based in Mexico City and provides online and in-person consultations (located in Las Lomas neighborhood). She has provided supervision and consultation to graduate students for the last 13 years and has been a professor at different universities for the past 15 years.
