Morgan Howson, LMFT
About Me
Morgan Howson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 52326) working with individuals, couples, and families. She is a trauma specialist, a Certified EMDR Therapist, trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), and an Approved EMDR Therapy Consultant for The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Morgan has been practicing psychotherapy since 2009 and has been trained in EMDR Therapy since 2013. Outside of her work with private clients, Morgan is committed to teaching, training and mentoring in the broader mental health community. She supervises pre-licensed clinicians at Haight Ashbury Psychological Services in San Francisco and has previously been an Adjunct Faculty member at The California Institute for Integral Studies (CIIS) and a Psychology Instructor for the Prison University Project at San Quentin State Prison. She served as the Upper School Counselor at Burke’s School in San Francisco for five years and continues to consult for K-12 schools across the Bay Area. Morgan enjoys facilitating conversations about mental and emotional wellbeing in a variety of academic and community settings ranging from local preschools to nationally accredited universities.
