About Me
Many of the people I work with have spent a long time trying to hold everything together. They may be navigating the impact of trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship challenges, or patterns that no longer serve them. Some feel stuck, while others are simply exhausted from carrying so much on their own. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin moving toward meaningful, lasting change.
I believe healing starts with curiosity, not criticism. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I approach therapy with the question, "What happened to you?" Together, we'll explore how your past experiences may be influencing your present, understand the purpose your thoughts and behaviors have served, and develop practical tools that fit your life today.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while recognizing that no single approach works for everyone. Therapy is most effective when it feels like a partnership, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you're not sure where to begin. In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know one another, exploring what brought you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from the process. You don't need to have everything figured out before you walk through the door—we'll start wherever you are.
Education & Experience
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both school-based and outpatient mental health settings, including supporting individuals with complex emotional and behavioral needs. These experiences have reinforced my belief that behavior is communication, every person's story deserves to be understood, and healing is possible.
