About Me
Practicing in Colorado and in Newfoundland and Labrador, I specialize in working with children and families around parenting, adoption, loss and trauma.
Education & Experience
Graduate of Memorial University of NL ( B.A. (Hon)) , Mount Saint Vincent University ( BPR) and Newmann University ( MSW), I have been a therapist for over 10 years. I parent children with trauma histories and I adore seeing the best in everyone and sharing how our neurobiology drives our behaviour.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
For over 15 years, I ran a non-profit in several orphanages in China. I was co founder and Executive Director of First Hugs/ Dianjiang Kids International. I offered training at orphanage and provincial levels to caregivers. I also provided a weeklong training in China at the request of the CCCWA ( China Center for Children's Welfare and Adoption)
