About Me
Hello! I'm an EMDR and trauma therapist working with people in every season and stage. It is the honor of a lifetime to come alongside you as you work through the complicated emotions, grief and other issues stemming from either "little t" or "Big T" traumas. I do my best to create a warm, caring and collaborative environment for therapy, moving at your pace. I hope and pray that through our work you feel safe, understood, and truly empowered as you do the hard work toward healing and meaningful change. I integrate EMDR (including couples EMDR) with narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EFT, Gottman-informed, and faith-based approaches for those who are interested. Together, we will thoughtfully tailor your therapy to your unique story, pace, and goals.
Education & Experience
I earned my MA in Christian Marriage Family and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. I have also pursued several advanced trainings in couples EMDR, attachment-related EMDR, EMDR for chronic pain, somatic EMDR, IFS, OCD and phobias
