About Me
I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults and couples through trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional distress. I am DBT and EMDR-trained and integrate EMDR with attachment-focused, psychodynamic, existential, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients process difficult experiences and develop a stronger sense of safety, connection, and self-understanding.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe healing involves more than reducing symptoms—it is about understanding the experiences that shaped us and creating the freedom to live more fully in the present.
Education & Experience
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, which I completed in 2012. I have worked in the mental health field since graduation, with experience spanning community mental health, intensive treatment, school-based services, adult psychiatry, and private practice.
I began my clinical career with Fresno County, working as an MFT Associate and Case Manager and later serving as a deputized LPS Conservator, supporting individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. I then co-led Fresno County’s Expansion Day Treatment (EDT) program, providing intensive treatment to adolescents with complex and high-acuity mental health needs, including extensive work with suicide risk, psychosis, personality disorders, and crisis intervention.
Following EDT, I provided school-based psychotherapy to elementary and middle school students through Fresno County. I later joined Kaiser Permanente’s Adult Psychiatry Department as part of the DBT team. Since 2019, I have maintained a private practice working with adolescents, adults, and couples. My clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach and informed by extensive experience treating complex mental health concerns.
