About Me
Not sure where else to go? You’ve either tried talk therapy and are looking for a new approach or you’ve heard about EMDR therapy from a friend or family member, maybe read about it online? EMDR Therapy is a bottom-up approach. This means we can work with the nervous system to help reduce the intense feelings from traumatic experiences (physical, emotional, or psychological) and create or strengthen positive beliefs that can help you feel more empowered and in control of your life. New thoughts can emerge such as “I survived” or “I have positive resources now.” The shift is not forced. It is discovered organically as the mind integrates data that was previously unavailable during a trauma response. As a certified EMDR Therapist with years of experience, I have worked with a wide range of traumas. I have helped individuals just like you with either PTSD or those in accidents, sexual trauma, addiction, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, and phobias, as well as those who feel stuck in life and aren’t sure why and how to move forward. I would love to hear from you. You can reach out to me at 561-899-9420 or email me at hello@neilwolfson.com. You can also find out more about me, my approach, and about EMDR Therapy at my website: www.neilwolfson.com.
