About Me
I am a mental health therapist with many years of experience working with people who struggle with anxiety (and anxiety-related disorders), depression, stress, anger management, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, life changes, as well as a history of trauma and addiction. In addition to being a mental health therapist, I am a Mindfulness teacher and I have also been a school counselor, college advisor, teacher, and mentor. I customize my treatment approach based on the unique needs and goals of my clients. Depending on what works best for you, we may utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness (stress reduction), EMDR Therapy (trauma therapy), Motivational Interviewing(the gentle process of setting and achieving goals) and Gottman Method for Couples Counseling—or any combination of these.
