About Me
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience and have been a certified EMDR therapist for 15 years. I specialize in treating stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Early in my career, I became curious about EMDR after realizing that traditional "talk therapy" often only addressed the surface level of a client’s challenges.
While standard therapy focuses on the "why," EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) targets the "how" by reprogramming the brain to process painful memories so they no longer disrupt your daily life. This approach is less about analyzing past experiences, rather it focuses on settling the nervous system to ensure you no longer experience these feelings as active threats but instead as quiet, settled memories.
I believe everyone can heal, change, and thrive with the right support. To assist you in your journey, I offer several options: traditional in-office sessions, Telehealth, EMDR Intensives for faster progress, and "Walk and Talk" sessions that combine EMDR with the grounding benefits of nature and movement.
I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to see if my approach is the right fit for you. It is time to invest in yourself and begin the journey toward peace and well-being.
